2023: a positive outlook

Jan 24, 2023 | News, Talenter

Still struggling our way out of the first Pandemic in the middle of the digital era, in 2022 we were, absurdly caught up in a war without purpose or reason. For many companies, 2022 was a year in which the initial perspectives had to be readjusted on a monthly basis due to the unpredictability that the war brought, in the face of the brutal increase in the price of energy and food. Most of the businesses were able to maintain themselves (some even grew), largely due to the need that we all had to feel our freedom back, after almost 24 months of imposed semi-cloistered.

But what can we expect in 2023?
In this year that has just begun, we are faced with a galloping inflation rate, bank interest rates growing disproportionately and a more than predictable loss of individual purchasing power and business investment capacity.

But everything will be so much worse if we resign ourselves, if we give up or if we think that there is nothing within our reach that dares to put all this into question. It is time to believe in ourselves, in our abilities and transform difficulties into challenges and achievable goals.

In crises and difficulties there are two types of people, those who cry, and those who sell paper tissues. In 2023, companies will need much more of the last strain.

In a market that will inevitably once again be characterized by an almost exclusive analysis of the price factor, the companies that will be most successful will be those whose people are more prepared to once again create value, either through the attention dedicated to each client, or through empathy and a sense of help in the development of their businesses. The creation of value will still depend a lot on the digital leap, which will allow all interlocutors to gain productivity and, consequently, time and money.

Internal teams must be 200% focused on responding to client needs, without ever forgetting the needs employees will experience this year. It is essential to listen to people, understand their problems and be the first line of help from every point of view. Companies are the mirror of the human condition in which their employees live, and it is necessary to have healthy companies at all levels.
Commitment, mutual assistance and the will to thrive will be the mottos for 2023.
... and we will be here to conquer it.
